The Hog Dog Diaries Experiment

A couple of summers ago I shot these short videos as an exercise. They all take place at a hot dog truck off the LIE that comedian Mike Krasner was running as his day job. Each one took about 2 hours to write and shoot. I had planned to do a slew of these with all the comics I knew but Mike’s boss sold the truck a few weeks into shooting. Here is one of my favs starring Chris Roach:

Sad News

Willy’s cat Big Boy had to be put to sleep today. A few years ago he had to give BB away but Willy would visit him whenever he stayed over his friend’s house in Bay Shore. Willy has been staying there during the storm and he was just telling me yesterday that he dug out Big Boy’s pet door so he could get outside. His new owners took him to the vet today and it turned out he had a bad kidney. That’s not good when you are a 14 year old kitty. They put him to sleep right there. It was so sad to hear Willy crying as he told me what a sweet cat he was.

It makes me appreciate how big a part of my life my cats have become. I am a big wuss but I don’t care. Here is my baby Groucho exposing himself:
